Fairies Day

Before the sun begins to rise, a miracle appearsFlying through the moonlit sky making her premierOn a misty blue dragonfly she swirls through the airStars shining in her eyes moonbeams in her hairThe fairy queen is Shelli she rings the morning bellLetting all her subjects know time to weave their spellFrom leafs of green, flowers of pink, and vines with purple hueThey stretch, yawn and with a smile make their day's debutTheir bathtub is a buttercup filled with morning dewBreakfast is the nectar from a flower of brilliant blueFairy wings on the wind spread mischief everywhereThey dip and fly through the sky as music fills the airQueen wears vibrant colors they sparkle, shine and danceIf you look in her eyes, you will fall into her tranceHer hair is ever changing streaks of black or blondLightly she touches down making ripples in the pond
